We are happy to announce that Mr. Alexandros Sergakis, Ph.D student of the EMLab, Technical University of Crete has won the Ι.Κ.Υ.–Fulbright Greece Partnership Award for Greek Research Students for the academic year 2026-2027.
The Scholarship supports a total of 5 successful candidates to carry out part of his Ph.D research at the United States of America.
As part of this scholarship, Alexandros Sergakis will stay in Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana for 6 months. During his stay, he will work in the field of fault diagnosis and maintenance of electromechanical conversion systems for renewable power generation, which is perfectly aligned with his Ph.D research work, under the supervision of Prof. Konstantinos Gyftakis.
